These terms govern your use of this website, which [Legal entity name, LLC] operates as an AI practice (“we,” “us”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
If you use the site on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
Using the site
You may browse the site, read and share its content, and contact us through it. You agree not to:
- try to break into, overload or interfere with the site or the systems behind it;
- copy or scrape the site in bulk by automated means, beyond what search engines normally do;
- upload anything harmful, such as malware, or anything unlawful;
- send us someone else’s personal information, or confidential information you are not allowed to share;
- pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your connection to a business;
- use the site or its content to build a competing service or to train an AI model.
We may block access to the site for anyone who breaks these rules.
What you send us
Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through a website form. Sending us a message does not create a confidentiality agreement or a client relationship; only a signed agreement does that. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle what you send.
Not professional advice
Our articles, white papers, pages and tools are general information about operations, automation and AI. They are not insurance, legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and they are not advice about whether any law or regulation applies to your business.
This AI practice is not an insurance agency or an insurance company. We do not sell, quote or bind insurance, and nothing on this site is an offer of insurance. The site mentions our founder’s separate life insurance agency, which partners with P&C agencies; that business is licensed separately, and any partnership with it is a separate agreement. For decisions about coverage, law, tax, compliance or money, talk to a qualified professional who knows your situation.
Reading the site, using a tool on it or contacting us does not make you our client.
Estimates, calculators and examples
Our calculators and estimates are illustrative. They are worked out from the inputs you enter and the assumptions shown with them. They are not a quote, an offer, a forecast or a promise of any result. Real results depend on your business, your data, your people and how a system is built and used. They may differ from any estimate, and they may be zero.
Examples and case studies describe specific situations. They may not be typical, and they do not predict what will happen in your business.
Work for clients
Any work we do for you is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both of us. Nothing on this site is an offer to provide services on particular terms. Descriptions of our services and process on the site may change. If the site and a signed agreement differ, the signed agreement controls.
Intellectual property
The site and its content, including text, graphics, white papers, calculators, page design and code, belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. You may view the site, print or save pages for your own reference, and share links to it. You may share our white papers inside your own business if you keep our name on them. You may not sell, republish or modify our content, or use our name or logo, without our written permission.
Third-party links and services
The site may link to other websites or use third-party services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their availability or how they handle your information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
Disclaimers
The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will be error-free, current, secure or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, arising from your use of the site or its content, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to [liability cap amount].
Some states do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
These limits apply to the website. Liability for client work is set in the client’s written agreement.
Your responsibility
If you misuse the site or break these terms, and someone brings a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. [Counsel to confirm governing law.] Any dispute about the site or these terms will be heard in the state or federal courts located in [county], Illinois, and you and we agree to that location. [Counsel to confirm venue.]
Changes
We may change the site or these terms at any time. Changes take effect when we post them here with a new effective date. If you keep using the site after that, the new terms apply.
General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not given it up. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about using the site. They do not change any separate written agreement for client work.
